Miles for Military was founded by Maureen Byrne, a proud mother of a Marine, who recognized the challenge many junior enlisted service members face in getting home to see their families. Inspired to make a difference, she created a program that rewards volunteer service with a flight home, connecting military members with meaningful community work while allowing them to be with their loved ones. In 2025, Miles for Military flew 541 service members and aims to expand that impact to 5,000 in 2026.
