Request a Balance Transfer

With your Coign card you’re able to request a Balance Transfer directly from your mobile app.  The process is easy and straight forward. The following steps will walk you through it. From the Dashboard screen, start by tapping “Manage Account”.  

Then tap on the “Balance Transfer" button, near the top of the screen.

On this screen you’ll see the Balance Transfer requests you’ve made. You’ll also be able to initiate new Balance Transfer requests. To begin the process of requesting a new Balance Transfer, tap the "Request Balance Transfer" button at the bottom of the Balance Transfer screen.

Here, you’ll see the terms of the Balance Transfer you’re requesting as well as a pop-up that describes what a Balance Transfer is. Please read them thoroughly, and if you agree, click “OK” on the pop-up, and "Continue” at the bottom of the screen.

Next, you’ll see a summary of the information relevant to your Balance Transfer request, including the maximum amount you can transfer. Enter the amount you’d like to transfer to your Coign card. Once you’re done, confirm that everything is correct and tap "Continue" at the bottom of the screen.

On this screen you’ll enter the information for the card you want to transfer a balance from. Some of this information can be found on your credit card, other information, like the bank address, can usually be found on your billing statement, or on the company’s website. For the bank address, be sure to enter the billing address of the credit card company or its associated bank. Once you’ve double checked that everything is correct, tap “Continue" at the bottom of the screen.

On the Balance Transfer Details screen you’ll be able to review all the Terms and Conditions of the transaction. Please review this information carefully before clicking the box near the bottom of the screen showing that you’ve read and agree to the terms and conditions. Once you’ve done that and you’re ready to move forward, tap "Agree" at the bottom of the screen.

On the next screen we’ll show you a summary of your Balance Transfer request. Please review all the information, again making sure everything is correct and hit “Submit”.  

Please note: tapping "Submit" is the final part of the Balance Transfer request process and will initiate the transaction. This action cannot be undone from your mobile app. To alter a submitted Balance Transfer request, you must call Customer Service at 833-690-2471 within 24 hours of initiating your request.

Congratulations! You’ve successfully completed your Balance Transfer request. Please review all the information, and when you’re ready tap "Finish" at the bottom of the screen to complete the process.

You can check your balance transfer status anytime by going to the Balance Transfer screen. You can get there by following the first 2 steps at the beginning of this tutorial.
